Ultimately it worked fine and I am quite happy with the product.
When I say ultimately I when I have bought cartridges in the past they were always a complete unit including the drum unit. I was not aware the toner cartridge and drum unit separated. It took some time to work out how. Since there were no instructions. I am still unsure as to whether Ishould replace the drum unit at the same times the toner. Anyway it all seems to work well.
